Places to Take Photographs in Wisconsin

Oh Wisconsin, the land of the cheese!  Wisconsin is really a beauitful place, but sometimes it is really hard to decide where to take pictures.  I've lived here in Brookfield, Wisconsin for a year now and am still exploring the area to find new, fun places to take different kinds of shots.  I have compiled a list of places I know of that have worked out really well for me.  If you know of any others, please leave a comment below!
  • Trimborn Farm
  • Frame Park in Waukesha
  • Elm Grove Park
  • Stage Coach Museum Inn
  • Discovery World/The Lakeshore
  • Lighthouse on Lake Michigan
  • Downtown Delafield - Buildings
  • Downtown Wauwatosa
  • The Botanical Gardens
  • Third Ward in Milwaukee
  • Kettle Morraine Forest
  • Any kind of Apple Orchard

Happy photographing!

I like any of the railroad tracks and the historic buldings park at Prospect Hill (on National just west of Racine rd). My inlaws also have a lovely wooded property in Big Bend (20 min drive) and are pretty open with visitors. My 'photography bucket list' includes many of the places you've listed, as well as a couple that I'd have to pay to use, like Old World Wisconsin and Circus World - they just would be so fun to use! And I like old barns. I'm loving seeing your photography and am excited for your growth!
